Solution Kit 1: Launching Your Solution

As you start your first course in rewiring the emotional brain, pause and reflect about what you most want from this training. You may not know for sure, but setting your sites on achieving freedom from a particular excess or experiencing one of life’s richest rewards that you most want is an important first step.

Page through the journal at the rate of about one chapter per week. It’s not necessary to do the work perfectly, as the kits are designed such that if you do not master a skill in one course, you’ll have more opportunities to master it in a different form in a later course.

Each weekly chapter includes small sections on different topics. The novelty and effectiveness of each one are the strength of the program. Do as much or as little as you choose to do, then after one week, turn to the next chapter. The sections of the journals are:

The Imagines Use these 11 visualizations weekly, corresponding to The Imagine in your coursework for the week. Play them at other times for general Training in the Solution Method. Use these CDs for course 1 and 2.

Tips for Success:

  • Develop a positive relationship with your kit right from the start. It’s the time you spend working in this kit that has the most impact on emotional brain rewiring.
  • Find a safe place to keep your journal and jot something down in it each day.
  • Be sure to log on to the website and find a few minutes each day to play with some of the tools, leave a message for other members, or use The Instant Connection or Sanctuary Time.
  • Post pocket reminders in the bathroom, at work and anywhere you spend time to remind yourself to use the tools.
  • Appreciate that this is your first kit and it will only become easier!
